JR Exercise Physiology initially began as a rehab clinic for DVA and Medicare clients. But we saw that Bundaberg needed something more than just another clinic or personal trainer, it needed a space that promoted personal growth. So, we combined the best in clinical research and personal training to create precisely that.
Our staff strive to create an environment that promotes both mental and physical improvement through community. We hope to build a tribe of people who are serious about their health and want to strive towards something great.
At JR Exercise Physiology, we want to strive towards greatness. With our expert guidance, everyone has the potential for greatness in their fitness journey. We aim to foster a community of like-minded individuals who won’t settle for being stagnant and instead want to progress towards the healthiest version of themselves.
My fitness journey began with football before turning to basketball in my high school years. This led to me coaching the Harvard basketball program for Brisbane Grammar Boys for three years, where I also had the pleasure of being a basketball coach for both Australia Sports Camps and International Sports Camps. During this time I also completed my Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at QUT in 2020.
In 2018, I found a passion for strongman training, powerlifting and Olympic lifting and have loved it ever since. Lifting is my happy place, a time where I can unwind and destress.
I am a Youth Leader at Heritage Christian Centre and dedicate Friday afternoons to creating a safe environment for the youth of Bundaberg.
I have over 8 years of experience as a personal trainer and strength coach in Bundaberg. My passion for exercise has helped me assist countless clients succeed in their fitness journey. I specialise in bodybuilding, weight loss, cardiovascular fitness, boxing, strength and conditioning training. I have won several powerlifting competitions around Australia and hope to compete more in the future.
I am currently studying Occupational Therapy at university as I want to continue my passion for helping people strive towards greatness.
